Bequia is the second largest island in the Grenadines at 18 square kilometers. It is part of the country of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and is approximately 15 kilometres from the nation’s capital, Kingstown, on the main island, Saint Vincent.

This resort features various sizes of living units with public amenities such as a marina, spa, pool, gym, and cafe / bar. The layout takes advantage of the dramatic slope directly off the coast, allowing the project to cascade down to the shore while blending with it environment with its subtle form and materials.

The proposal takes advantages of prefabrication, allowing the project to be broken down and shipped to the remote site. A simple layout and material system allows levels of transparency and privacy through detailed patterning in the wood and through directional / elevation changes in the units. Open gathering spaces create level of shading while retaining air flow with adjacencies to amenities, allowing for a sense of community among visitors.
